The request seeks greater flexibility in using federal Title I and Title IV funds to support student achievement, improve learning environments and address school improvement priorities.
The proposed waiver application will be available for public review for 14 calendar days, October 28 through November 11, 2026.
Community members may submit written comments to the Department of Teaching and Learning during the public comment period. All feedback will be reviewed and considered before the District submits its final application to the Illinois State Board of Education.
